Tenille Townes Releases New Song “Girl Who Didn't Care”
Canadian country music singer-songwriter Tenille Townes released a new song “Girl Who Didn't Care” on June 25, 2021.
The song her first single since the 2020 debut album “The Lemonade Stand”, which recently was awarded COUNTRY ALBUM OF THE YEAR at the 50th Annual JUNO Awards.
The track was written by Tenille Townes, Steph Jones and David Pramik, who also produced it.
Tenille Townes said, “Something happens to all of us at some point in our lives when we start noticing the cracks. We start realizing that we care about what somebody else thinks. That we want to belong and be accepted, and we’re scared we won’t be.”
She continued, “We start measuring our worth against everything else around us. Childhood innocence doesn’t just wait around. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. But the wonder? I think that’s always a part of us if we want to remember it.”- Tenille Townes shared on social media, “IT’S HERE!!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited this song is out in the world!!!!!!!! I hope this song makes you guys smile and think of how you used to see yourself and everything around you before the world and society and somebody else changed your idea of it. I hope you sing along remembering that you are brave and important and loved and that there’s always a little wonder waiting for you. And to the little dreamers listening out there, thank you for always inspiring me and making the world brighter. So thankful to everybody a part of creating and lifting this song up. Sooooooooo excited to get to share this one 💛”
