American singer-songwriter Katie Crutchfield's music project Waxahatchee unveiled a new music video for “Chapel of Pines” directed by Christopher Good.
The song will appear on the band's forthcoming EP "Great Thunder", which is set to be released on September 7, 2018.
The video reminds us of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland".
The EP follows up the fourth album "Out in the Storm" and contains 6-track.
“I would say that it is a complete 180 from the last record: super stripped-down, quiet, and with me performing solo, it’s a throwback to how I started,” Katie Crutchfield said in a press release. “Overall, the EP is a warm, kind of vibey recording.”- Katie Crutchfield, previously a member of P.S. Eliot, stated a solo project Waxahatchee in 2010. She has released four albums "American Weekend" (2012), "Cerulean Salt" (2013), "Ivy Tripp" (2015) and "Out in the Storm" (2017), so far.
In August, the band embarks on the US tour, including several music festivals, such as Travelers' Rest Festival on August 4th, Big Sky Brewing Company on August 5th, HOPSCOTCH MUSIC FESTIVAL on September 6th and Philly Music Fest 2018 on September 28th.
