The 62nd Grammy Awards Winners List & Performances: Billie Eilish Wins 6 Awards
The 62nd Grammy Awards ceremony took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 26, 2020.
The awards ceremony kicked off in tribute to basketball icon Kobe Bryant, who died hours before the show, with a touching, emotional performance led by host Alicia Keys.
Lizzo led this year’s nominations with eight nods including Album, Record, and Song of the Year, as well as Best New Artist.
Finally she won Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X each received six nominations. Billie Eilish won Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Also, her brother Finneas won for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. He became one of the youngest producers ever nominated for producer of the year, non-classical.
Lil Nas X won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video.
The ceremony featured performances from Lizzo, Eilish, Lil Nas X, BTS, Rosalía, Aerosmith, and Tyler, the Creator, among others.
Also, Demi Lovato returned to the stage after almost two years away. She had paused her career after she suffered a drug overdose in the summer of 2018.- kBFOaUaltNA
