Melanie Martinez Drops New Music Video for “Lunchbox Friends”
American singer-songwriter Melanie Martinez has dropped a new music video for “Lunchbox Friends” from her sophomore album “K-12”, which was released last September.
When the album was released, she posted a self-directed film simultaneously to YouTube. At that time, she said, “I'm currently writing a film... I'm going to spend the year working on it, directing, shooting, make up and everything so it's a lot of work”.
But the film was currently removed from YouTube, instead of, she has released the music videos from the film, so far.
The album was produced by Michael Keenan, who had previously collaborated with Martinez on a few tracks on her previous album “Cry Baby”.The LP reached No.3 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 8 on the UK Albums chart.
She will resume The K-12 Tour at Campo Pequeno in Lisbon on January 21st. The tour will take place in Europe and the UK through to February 17th.
