  • Mark Ronson & YEBBA Cover Kygo/Whitney Houston's “Higher Love” on BBC Radio 1 Live

  • English–American DJ Mark Ronson and American Grammy-award-winning singer YEBBA appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live, where both artists covered Kygo/Whitney Houston's “Higher Love” and performed their collaboration song “Don't Leave Me Lonely”.

“Higher Love” was released by Steve Winwood in 1986, who is known as keyboard player and singer-songwriter of Traffic as well as super group Blind Faith with Eric Clapton. Also he won two Grammy Awards. The original song featured Chaka Khan as backing vocals.
Late Whitney Houston covered the song in 1990, it was included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of her third studio album “I'm Your Baby Tonight”.
Back in June, Norwegian DJ Kygo re-recorded Whitney Houston's version.
“Don't Leave Me Lonely” is included on Mark Ronson's latest album “HLate Night Feelings”. At that time, she wrote on Instagram, “Dear Mark, thank you for seeing me through my heartache. Being around you has truly reset my personal life on a higher course. I’ve learned poise under pressure and music over everythang. Love u forever, friend. Now let’s dance, Markus.”
