Brett Castro Shares New Music Video for “what's mine?"
Last year, New York-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Brett Castro released “Much About Sadness”, which reached No. 37 on Spotify’s Viral 50 Chart.
After success of the song, he released his sophomore EP “im sorry” back in April.
The EP comprises of 5-track including two previously released singles "i hope u never get over me" and "teach you to fall in love".
“It’s really all I could write about for a while,” Brett Castro said. “I let the whole thing just consume me, and I really didn’t come out from under it until I finished the final mixes for every song.”
From the EP, he premiered a new music video for “what's mine?" on June 22nd. The video was directed by DQ Kim.
The track is an emotional ballad and reminds us of Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Wrabel.
Also he wrote the songs of the EP in Germany in 2017. “My hard drive crashed while I was living in Berlin and I lost all my music. On top of the breakup I was going through, I felt like I had lost everything. Writing all this new music that’s on this EP - it was a way of finding myself again,” he said.- source : Kurrent Music
