Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018: Halsey, Shawn Mendes, The Struts & More Performances
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018 was held at Pier 94 in New York City on December 2nd, where Halsey, Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes, The Struts, The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini and Leela James took to the stage.
Halsey performed "Without Me", Shawn Mendes performed “Lost in Japan”, The Struts performed "Body Talks", Rita Ora performed “Let You Love Me” and Bebe Rexha performed “I'm a Mess”.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is an annual fashion show sponsored by Victoria's Secret, a brand of lingerie and sleepwear.
Halsey wrote about the show on Instagram:
"I have adored the Victorias Secret fashion show since I was young. Performing this year alongside other amazing artists and hardworking models/friends was supposed to be the best night of my year.
However, after I filmed the performance, some comments were made regarding the show that I simply cannot ignore.
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have no tolerance for a lack of inclusivity. Especially not one motivated by stereotype.
If you're on my page because you watched my performance tonight, please allow me to instead direct your attention to GLSEN: An organization that offers services aimed at protecting LGBTQ+ youth. And with respect to those youth targeted by these comments in a world where they have been made to feel "other," I have made a sizable donation in their honor.
