Aria Wunderland Premieres New Song “Airplane Mode” on SoundCloud
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Aria Wunderland has shared a new song “Airplane Mode” via SoundCloud.
The song is the second single of the 2018, following "Super Fly" featuring Only 1 Theory, which was released back in May.
Also, she plans to release her new EP (yet-untitled) including both songs this year.
The track is dreamy pop sound reflects her lyrics, as she fantasizes about romantic adventures of all shapes and sizes, from road trips to San Francisco, to attending the Cannes Film Festival and flying to Monaco.
“This is a song about romance and escapism. This idea of exiting the world and reality we live in to be present to each other,” Aria Wunderland said of the song. “We often get caught up in our day-to-day routine, we get busy with life’s responsibilities. Airplane Mode is about being in a jet-setting mood, breaking away from feelings of monotony and confinement.”
She continued, “This song is also about finding comfort in the mere dream of getting away. So this idea that you may not necessarily hop on a plane at this very second but you can dream about going places and find solace in that.
