Major Lazer Premieres New Music Video for “Blow That Smoke” featuring Tove Lo
American EDM trio Major Lazer dropped a new music video for “Blow That Smoke” featuring Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo, directed by dad®.
The song was released on October 17 and will appear on their upcoming fourth studio album "Music Is the Weapon".
Unfortunately, "Music Is the Weapon" is their last album and the trio will be no longer.
In the clip, Tove Lo plays as a hotel housekeeper and escapes from her real life to different world at one room like the film "Narnia".
“When we had finished the song [Diplo] asked me if I had any fun ideas for a video and I came up with Party Narnia that night,” Tove Lo explains. “I was very happy Major Lazer were all down and into it. The director duo DAD took it on and all of us had some great inspo talks before the shoot. They really nailed it with the narrative, cast and all the different worlds and dimensions. I think the video really captures the message of the song — the sweet escape from mundane life that can feel so good.”- source : Idolator
