Jackie Venson Premieres New Music Video for “Keep On”
Austin-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Jackie Venson has dropped a new music video for “Keep On” directed by Louie Carr.
She plans to release 12 singles and 12 accompanying music videos this year. “Keep On” is the fifth single.
Each song is different music style, but all songs are based on her roots R&B.
She recorded the song in two days. "That was crazy, the band had learned it in 2 days and we worked it out." she said.
The video was shot in Big Bend like a road movie.
Jackie Venson said of the video, “This video was filmed in Big Bend, West Texas. Unlike my other videos which often have a story line, the vision for this was to capture the sheer joy and spontaneity of falling in love.”
She is currently on the road. Next up is Lincoln Hall + Schubas in Chicago on August 29th.
Also she will appear on Austin City Limits Festival 2018 between October 5th and 7th.
