Dagny Covers Fleetwood Mac's “Landslide”
Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny Norvoll Sandvik, aka Dagny covered Fleetwood Mac's song “Landslide”. The song was delivered via Spotify.
Back in June, she released a new song "Used to You". “Landslide” is following it.
“Landslide” was released by Fleetwood Mac in 1975, included on the band's self-titled album. A live version was released as a single 23 years later from the live reunion album "The Dance".
The track was written by Stevie Nicks.
She said of the song, "I wrote it (Landslide) for Lindsey (Lindsey Buckingham) – for him, about him. It’s dear to both of us because it’s about us. We’re out there singing about our lives."- Other artists have covered th song such as The Smashing Pumpkins, who released as the B-side to their 1994 single "Disarm", and Dixie Chicks, who released in 2002 as the second single of the album "Home".
Dagny will perform at Kuusisaari in Oulu, Finland on July 27. The festival features Ellinoora, S-tool, Anna Puu, Stam1na, CMX, Redrama, Kaija Koo, K-X-P, Vesta and Cheek.
This fall, she will embark on the tour in Europe along with Lemaitre. The tour kicks off at Heaven in London on October 18, 2018.
