PVRIS Releases New Song “Anyone Else” and New Album “All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell”
American rock band PVRIS has released a new song "Anyone Else" and their sophomore album "All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell".
"Anyone Else" is the fourth single following "Heaven", "What's Wrong" and "Half". A music video was premiered on August 23, directed by Raúl Gonzo & Lyndsey Gunnulfsen. On the same day, the band appeared on BBC Radio 1 and performed a stripped-back acoustic live session.
The new album "All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell" contains 10-track and released for the first time in three years.
The band has toured to promote the new album since August 18. The tour takes place in Europe and North America through to November. Learn more about tour dates, click here.
The band has announced that a portion of the prices for every ticket sold for their US and UK tours will be donated to The Ally Coalition, who campaign for LGBTQ+ equality.-
About the new album, a frontwoman Lynn Gunn told Alternative Press in an interview;
"I can say that we're different—like, we as people. We recorded White Noise probably three years ago, so with this record, we have a lot more ideas. We have a lot more experiences to draw from, and just overall maturity as humans and writers. All those things combined into one. There's also more pressure on this one as well, but it's a good pressure, I think.
I definitely think there's quite a few different elements added in on this record, whether it's synth sounds, the guitar sound, vocal styling—stuff like that. It's pretty diverse and all over the place, but still has that PVRIS flair to it. I'm trying not to give away too much about it, because I still want to leave some mystery. It's definitely different. There's a lot of new and unique sounds added in on this record that will be prevalent throughout." - PVRIS was formed in 2012, currently, consisting of Lyndsey "Lynn Gunn" Gunnulfsen (lead vocals), Alex Babinski (lead guitar), Brian MacDonald (bass) and Justin Nace (drums), who is touring member.
The band formed originally under the name Paris but later changed it to PVRIS in the summer of 2013 citing legal reasons.
In 2014, the band signed to Rise and Velocity, and released a debut album "White Noise".
