Alissic Releases New Song “Piano”
Brazilian model and singer-songwriter Alissa Salls, aka Alissic released a new song “Piano” with an accompanying music video on October 13, 2021.
She wrote the song with her husband Oliver Sykes of British rock band Bring Me the Horizon, and Dan Lancaster.
Also, both artists of Alissic and Oliver Sykes co-directed the video. The track features themes of mental health.
“It's about people self-harming, and them not really seeing everyone around them,” Alissa Salls told NME about the song. “It's saying, 'I'm here, and I see you hurting yourself'. I wanted to write something that showed the other side. The whole story is about a prince who self-harms, I'm here to help, but the prince is so caught up in his own world that he doesn't see it.”
She continued, “The message is for whoever is listening and going through the same situation as my prince to realise that they're probably not alone after all. I want people to feel like they're seen.”
Oliver Sykes shared on social media, “My baby angel Alissic is about to premiere her 2nd single 'piano' on YouTube. I helped write it along with Dan Lancaster.”- X93kZH3kQfQ
