Lisa Heller Shares New Song “18”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lisa Heller has released a new song “18” along with a lyric video.
The song is the second single off of her her upcoming sophomore EP “is anyone listening?”, following “red flags”.
It was written by Meghan Williams, Cheska Zaide and Lisa Heller. Co-produced by Nashville producer Will McCoy.
She created the song with Meghan Williams, Cheska Zaid and Will McCoy via Facetime.
“Right in the beginning of the pandemic, I went back to my hometown in Connecticut for a while and started thinking about my favorite playground,” Lisa Heller said. “I wanted to revisit that nostalgia through the triple lens of memories, looking back at the playground through three different perspectives: Childhood, thinking I was too big for the town as a teenager with my friends, and now in my 20s, looking back at myself at 18 and seeing that I was still just a baby.”- She continued, “I think it will always be the case that the older I get, the more I will look back and think I was so young and had so much to learn. Life has so much room for growth over time.”
The new EP is due out July 15, 2021. But she plans to release one more single before the release the EP. Stay tuned. - source : SoundCloud
