British pop-rock band Lawson teamed up with American singer-songwriter Alyssa Bonagura to releases a new song “Killing Me”.
The song will appear on Lawson's upcoming third studio album “cmd z”, which is set to be released on July 2, 2021.
The original version of the song was released by Alyssa Bonagura in 2011. This time, Lawson and Alyssa Bonagura re-recorded the song.
The track was written by Alyssa Bonagura and Tyler Wilkinson. Produced by Alyssa Bonagura, Joel Peat and Andy Brown.
Alyssa Bonagura shared on social media, “We poured our hearts and souls into this. After a rough year of loss, this song was reborn and transformed with my friends Lawson 🤍 we’ve been friends for the last 7 years and met through producer and good mate John Fields - now it’s all come back around full circle!!”
Lawson will embark on the UK tour in October 2021 for the first time in six years. The tour kicks off at Sheffield Leadmill on October 25, 2021 and will conclude at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 6, 2021.
