Emma Webb Shares Debut Song “90s Playlist”
- British alt-folk singer-songwriter Emma Webb debuted with “90s Playlist” back in January.
The song truly embodies her feelings of gratitude for her close friendships.
Emma Webb said, “We blasted out 90s music all the way and harmonised the hell out of The Spice Girls!!”.
The vulnerable lyrics are an open book of raw, visual storytelling, giving insight into her precious, personal moments and memories.
She said, “My music is all about unconditional love, self love, and discovering what’s really important in life. It’s very honest and all my songs are specifically about something or someone in my life.”
- The song will appear on her debut EP “Best Friend”, which is out February 26, 2021.
She said, “There is so much going on right now and it feels like all the hard work that’s been going on behind the scenes is going to start to show itself from Friday with the release of 90s Playlist. It’s honestly been a bit overwhelming taking my songwriting on a more professional journey, and I’ve not at all got my head around giving my own music a real go yet. But, music is there to share with people and I am so ready to share share share!! After 90s Playlist I plan to release an EP and then another single after that! The EP is done and ready and the other single is in its first draft with the producer... I’ve had a listen today and I am totally buzzing! So much is so close to being in your ears, that sounds weird but you get me hahah!”
