Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Samantha Jade Releases New Song “New Boy”
Australian singer-songwriter Samantha Jade released her brand new song “New Boy” on November 20th via Sony Music Entertainment Australia.
The song will appear on her upcoming fifth studio album (yet-untitled), which will be released in early 2021.
She co-wrote the song with Carmen Reece. Produced by G’harah “PK” Degeddingseze. The accompanying music video was directed by James Chappell.
Samantha Jade said of the song, “We wanted to write a song about that spark that comes from new beginnings, whether that’s taking the leap with a new love, pursuing a career change or stepping into that next chapter. Also we want people to just let go and dance!”
She continued, “all I could see when I was writing it was people on the beach dancing, or putting it on in the car, hair blowing out of the window and all.”- source : Around The Sound
