American singer-songwriter and former The Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton released her debut EP “Lioness Eyes” on August 7, 2020.
The EP contains 7-track, featuring '90s pop sound. Produced by Melody Thornton, Andrew Scott and Eric Zayne.
She departed from The Pussycat Dolls to focus on her solo career in 2010. She released first mixtape “P.O.Y.B.L” in 2012. The debut EP is her first project in eight years.
“My focus and ambition for this project was to create more of a musical identity as an artist. I also wanted to design and curate–not just write–great songs,” said Melody. “I want people to listen to this the way we listened to albums in the in the '90s. There's a flow from beginning to end.
