Kodaline Releases New Album “One Day at a Time”: Streaming
Irish rock band Kodaline released their fourth studio album “One Day at a Time” on June 12, 2020. It is their first LP in two years since “Politics of Living”.
The album contains 10-track including preceding singles "Wherever You Are", "Sometimes" and “Saving Grace”.
“The main thing this time was to capture those emotions through everything,” frontman Steve Garrigan said. “We also wanted to use a lot of harmonies and play to our strengths.”
“Our music is now as emotional as it can be,” drummer Vinnie May added. “We’re really confident and optimistic about this record.”
The band finished the album before the lockdown. Initially, they planned to release the album when all things get back to normal. But they decided to release in June. Because the band got a lot of messages online from their fans saying their music has helped them get through hard times.
Steve Garrigan told AsiaLive365, “We’ve finished the album at the end of the year, we were getting ready to release it and then lockdown happened. At one point we weren’t going to release it at all because we figured let’s just wait until things get back to some kind of normal. But we decided to go ahead with the release for our fans. We’ve got a lot of messages online from fans saying our music has helped them get through hard times. We’ve figured that if we release it, our fans would appreciate it.”- 1ofN3T9b7Dc
