Kid Crème & Jolyon Petch Release New Song “Boy in the Picture” Featuring Sian Evans
Brussels-based DJ Kid Crème teamed up with Melbourne-based producer Jolyon Petch on a new song "Boy in the Picture". The song features Kosheen's vocalist and singer-songwriter Sian Evans. The track received its first play during BBC Radio 1.
The sound is based on rhythmic piano like jazz, and blends synth riff with strong emotive vocals.
About this project, Kid Creme stated;
"Two years ago, I’d never met Sian before, but myself and Jolyon were working together and he knew her. So we booked a ticket for her to come and work in the studio and soon realized after listening to her voice that the tone was perfect. When she came we had no track at all: just 3 chords! I told her to write whatever she wanted, I just had piano chords and the song we wrote is the one you are now hearing."
Jolyon Petch added:
