Raveena Releases New Song “Junebug” featuring JPEGMAFIA
New York City-based singer-songwriter Raveena teamed up with American rapper JPEGMAFIA to release a new song “Junebug” on June 5, 2024.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming third studio album “Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain”, which is set to be released on June 14, 2024.
The track was written by Aaron Liao, Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, Raveena Aurora, and Tyler Cole. Produced by Tyler Cole and Aaron Liao.
Raveena said of the song, “I love inviting people with vastly different sonic landscapes to my music. To me, it is proof of our oneness and divine inter-connectedness. JPEGMAFIA brought the perfect energy to this summertime song — and I think we both aligned on this song with our mutual love for the tropics, with me being from India and Peggy from Jamaica.”- The new album comprises a 14-track, produced by Aaron Liao, Tyler Cole, and Stint.
Raveena said of the album, “Butterflies are so delicate that they have to hide in leaves and flowers until the rain passes so that their wings don't get crushed in the rain. I felt like that was kind of a metaphor for where I was in my life. I needed to go back to comfort-to deep rest-and stop weathering storms.” -
