Norwegian singer-songwriter girl in red premiered a new song “DOING IT AGAIN BABY” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming sophomore album “I'M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!”, following the release of “Too Much” last month.
The track was written and produced by girl in red and Matias Tellez.
girl in red told Clara Amfo about the second release including the album, “I mean, I think I actually have felt the pressure though. I had a lot of pressure to kind of feel like it's like that I've exceeded some expectations and also that like creatively that it's cooler than what I made before or something I don't know. But I definitely took my time. It's been three years is the first one, but I feel like I mean if you're listening to this thing in the back right now. It's like 'oh my god, it's like guitar solo'. It's so like new thinking, new like breaking boundaries, never heard before top of the guitar solo. So I feel like we definitely did it again.”- Lyrics of the song features Japanese denim, she said, “I'm wearing it right now. I just had a very long conversation about Japanese denim actually, also.”
girl in red said of the song, “For a second I did and then today it's been like fluctuating between being very confident and then feeling like absolute trash. But this song it's important to capture at least some to capture both highs and lows. So this is a moment of feeling absolutely sick, and on the top of the world.”
The new album comprises a 10-track, featuring collaborator from American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter.
