Kacy Hill Announces New Album “BUG”, Shares New Song “You Know I Love You Still”
American singer-songwriter Kacy Hill has announced that her fourth studio album “BUG” will be released on May 3, 2024 via Nettwerk.
It is her first body of work in three years since the 2021 album “Simple, Sweet, and Smiling”
The album comprises a 10-track, featuring from Nourished By Time and Donna Missal, as well as additional production from Sega Bodega and Jim-E Stack.
Kacy Hill said of the album, “BUG was made over the course of two years and became an outlet to say what I had been silently feeling in my relationship and life as a whole. Making this album marked a distinct change in my mindset as I shifted away from specific expectations, and instead focused on the curiosity and joy I felt while making music.”- From the album, she unveiled the fourth singe called “You Know I Love You Still” on March 1, 2024.
The track was written by aron Wing, Aidan Spiro, Bartees Strange, Christian Taylor, and Kacy Hill. Produced by Kacy Hill, Aaron Wing, and Aidan Spiro.
Kacy Hill said of the song, “'You Know I Love You Still' is a love song to music. I've spent a number of years in this industry now and in my most vulnerable moments, I wish I could just let it go and move away and start a new, simpler life. But I also know that wherever I go, it will follow me. I can try to start new, but I will always come back to it one way or another.”
Also, she shared on social media, “A little song about never being able to leave n give it up, even when you should.” -
She embarks on North American BUG Tour. The tour kicks off at Songbyrd Music House in Washington D.C. on May 29 and will concluded at Barboza in Seattle, WA on June 16, 2024.
