MARZIA Releases Debut Song “SHE IS HER”
Surrey-based Filipino-Canadian R&B singer-songwriter MARZIA released a debut song “SHE IS HER” on January 26, 2024.
This song is about the importance of finding the right person and emphasizes the value of women that men sometimes forget.
The track was written by Marzzhia Janine Ancheta.
MARZIA said of the song, “There’s this one bible verse that came into my mind: 'she is more precious than rubies.' The inspiration for the song stems largely from that. From the title, to the feel, to the meaning of the song. I wanted to emphasize how taking a hold of the right person is so important that instead of looking for the right person, be the right person. On the other hand, it’s also about a guy forgetting a girl’s value and it’s to remind him of how much she really means to him.”- She continued, “The song is predominantly R&B, but I really wanted to have more of a lyrical approach to the song. It’s not the typical song structure you expect because I wanted to speak through lyrics and relate to anyone who may feel they’ve lost touch of their love or even their own ways of love towards someone.”
