Goose Drops New Live Video for “The Way It Is” featuring Bruce Hornsby
American jam band Goose, consisting of Peter Anspach (keyboards), Jeff Arevalo (drums), Rick Mitarotonda (vocals/guitar) and Trevor Weekz (bass), has dropped a new live video for a cover of “The Way It Is” featuring American singer-songwriter Bruce Hornsby.
The video was directed by Jon 'Coach' Lombardi, who filmed at the Hampton Coliseum.
The band took place “Goosemas X” at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA on December 9, 2023.
Goosemas X is the tenth iteration of the band's annual holiday celebration that started as a three-set pizza and keg party at the Factory Underground in Norwalk, CT in 2014.
The original version of “The Way It Is” was released by American rock group Bruce Hornsby and the Range from their debut album of the same name in 1986.
The song reached No. 1 on US Billboard Hot 100. The track was written by Bruce Hornsby.
