SOLOMON Covers The Paper Kites' “Bloom”
London-based singer-songwriter SOLOMON released a cover of Australian indie rock band The Paper Kites' “Bloom” on December 22, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to his latest song “unrequited”, which was released in October.
The original version of the song was released by The Paper Kites as their debut song in 2010. Also, the track is featured on their debut EP “Woodland” as a bonus track in 2013. The song became Platinum disc in the US.
The track was written by Samuel Bentley and Christina Lacy.
SOLOMON shared on social media, “A holiday gift from me to you 💝 Wishing you a beautiful end to the year 💐”- Back in June, SOLOMON released his highly-anticipated debut EP “FOR STARTERS”.
He told CLASH about his music, “All these songs had been written in my room by me for however many years and people were starting to like them on social media lives and TikTok, and in a way I needed to expel them out of my system, I just felt like they weren't just for me anymore. I just feel like writing and releasing music acted as a form of therapy for me, it's like venting, like a release.” - source : Apple Music
