Oxlade Premieres New Song “INTOXYCATED” featuring Dave on BBC Radio 1
Nigerian singer-songwriter Oxlade premiered a new song “INTOXYCATED” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Jack Saunders.
This time, he teamed up with British rapper Dave on the track.
The song is the follow up to “OVAMI” featuring Flavour, which was released back in May.
The track was written by The Kazes, Deeyasso Beatz, and Spax.
Oxlade told Jack Saunders about the collaboration with Dave, “I feel like every time we hang, I learned something he's like an old soul in the young body and you know he literally interviewed me before he gave me the verse like it took me it took me to a store and I was like 'okay why do you want to be on this first literally?' Like I understand but you know that alone just made new respect him different.”- He continued, “He took me to a store. We were just trolling around the store and then after that he said let's go to the church, Just like the church okay and then the name of the studio happened to be the church.”
He added, “He is so picky. Like he's so like he doesn't fall for the normal and I'm choosy also like you can we can call ourselves divas. You know, we don't want to be dramatic with it but he's so picky and I respect that so much.” - source : BBC Radio 1
