Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Sir Winston Releases New Song “Perfectly Numb”
New York City-based Australian DJ Sir Winston released a new song “Perfectly Numb” along with a music video on June 22, 2023.
The song is taken from his upcoming EP “Démons à Combattre”.
The track was written by Winston Giles. Produced by Sir Winston.
The accompanying video wa filmed on the New York subway. It features Sir Winston performing with W.A.F.F.L.E crew, a NYC based collective of Litefeet Subway Dancers including Kid The Wiz, Joel Leitch and Lady Slic.
Sir Winston recorded the song at Transmitter Studios in Brooklyn New York. He reminisced, “everything flowed and ran like a dream for 'Perfectly Numb.'”
He added, "We found the new sound we were after. Completing it brought total joy - I left the studio beaming."
He described the arpeggiated synth riff on the track, "I love the arpeggiated synth riff – the track grew from that riff and the bass line. When the synth riff was looping in the studio, I yelled, 'this is making me perfectly numb' - Booooooom!"
