Carly Rae Jepsen Releases New Song “Shy Boy”
Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen released a new song “Shy Boy” on June 23, 2023.
The song is her first music since the sixth studio album “The Loneliest Time”, which was released last October.
The track was written by Carly Rae Jepsen, Ethan Gruska, Kyle Shearer, Nate Campany, Bo Watson, and June Watson. Produced by James Ford.
She first performed the song at Weho Pride 2023 in City of West Hollywood earlier this month.
Carly Rae Jepsen told Rolling Stone about LGBTQ fans, “I feel so lucky. When I'm onstage, it feels less about me and more like I'm just a conductor of all this good energy. It changed how I performed; it changed how I thought about everything. I'm trying to create a playful and safe space for anyone to be whoever they want to be. I feel so happy in those moments that I almost feel like I might combust.”- Carly Rae Jepsen will perform at Glastonbury Festival 2023 in Somerset, UK on June 23, 2023.
After that she will start The So Nice Tour Asian leg in support of the album this month. The tour kicks off at Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan on June 28, 2023, will conclude at Sunpalace Hotel & Hall in Fukuoka, Japan on July 6, 2023.
After Asian leg, she embarks on North American leg at PNE Amphitheatre in Vancouver, BC on July 28, 2023.
