ROYA Releases New Song “Paperwings”
Danish electro-pop duo ROYA, consisting of Line Gade and Sebastian Igens, released a new song “Paperwings” on February 10, 2023.
The song follows up “Kinda Sad”, which was released last September.
The track was written and produced by Line Gade and Sebastian Igens.
The duo tells the story about the addiction of love and all its consequences.
Line Gade said of the song, “'Paperwings' is a tragicomic pop drama about the addiction of love and the false expectations that sometimes follow. The song is framing a couple who broke up and even though they know they shouldn't - they keep hooking up. They are addicted to the nostalgic love between them, because it gives them a feeling of flying.
