Payson Lewis Returns With New Song “Back In Time” featuring Leah Lewis
American singer-songwriter Payson Lewis returned with a new song “Back In Time” on February 10, 2023.
It is his first music in two years since the 2021 single “Hotel Suite”.
This time, he teamed up with American actress and singer Leah Lewis on the track.
Payson Lewis wrote the song 10 years in the making about a painful heartbreak.
He first wrote the song in 2012, but was unready to release the track.
In 2021, he finally recorded it with producers Ben Soldate and MELOMATIC.
Payson Lewis shared on social media, “Feeling incredibly lucky to be putting this new song out along with Leah Lewis - which we recorded it back in 2021 while we were still dating. I'm really freaking proud of it, and honestly, even more proud of us for figuring out how to still release it together (let's hear it for emotional maturity!)”
He continued, “On that note….it's taken over 10 years to release this song. There were a lot of times I thought it was dead and buried. But I believed in it and kept trying to make it work and now it feels truly incredible to finally get to share it with the world. So, hopefully you can use this as a reminder not to give up on that project you believe in that's maybe proving a little harder to get.”- source : Apple Music
