American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth will release his upcoming third studio album “Charlie” on October 7, 2022.
It is his first album in four years since the 2018 album “Voicenotes”.
From the album, he released the sixth single called “Charlie Be Quiet!” on September 30, 2022.
He teased the song on TikTo back in August.
The track was written by Charlie Puth and Jacob Kasher Hindlin. Produced by Charlie Puth.
Charlie Puth said of the song, “I came up with that heavily syncopated, verselike melody as the chorus while going on a walk. I was listening to ‘The Whisper Song,’ produced by Mr. Collipark for the Ying Yang Twins. I thought, ‘Why has no one made a song where someone’s whispering?’ Then, in the second half of the chorus, you have the illusion of it getting louder for the listener, but it’s actually all mastered to the same level. You just jumped the octave.”
The new album comprises 12-track, featuring guest appearance from Jung Kook of BTS.
He embarks on One Night Only' Tour in support of the album. The tour kicks off at Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Ban on October 23, 2022 and will wrap up at Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin on December 5, 2022.
