Miami-based Italian singer-songwriter Stefano May unveiled a new song “Crazy” along with a music video on September 22, 2022.
This time, he worked with producer Chico Bennett and crafted the hauntingly beautiful ballad.
The song features different sounds than his previous songs, which are influenced American Motown sounds.
Stefano May uses his rich background as a classically trained pianist to pair this vocally driven piece with a dim and distorted piano hook.
The track was written by Stefano Maiuolo, and John Smallwood. The accompanying video was directed by Wesley Quinn.
In the contemplative music video, he is grappling with isolationism and the ghosts of his past as he journeys across abandoned beaches, lonely rooftops, and the solitude of his bedroom.
Stefano May said of the song, “In everyone's life, there is a moment when words cannot convey the gravity of a troubling situation to another. The power and beauty of music builds connection and closes this gap. I wrote this song about the craziness that can surround a relationship, from my own unique perspective.
