Me From You Releases New Song “Borrowed Time” from New EP “Rival Towns”
Back in May, New York based pop-punk band Me From You released their debut EP “Framework”.
Following the EP, the band will release the second EP “Rival Towns” on December 10, 2021.
From the new EP, the band unveiled a new song “Borrowed Time” on November 12th.
The band recorded it at Ghost Hit Recording with Alan Day and support from James MacMillian.
The band said of the song, “While writing this song, Steven was in the middle of a failing relationship and grieving over a lost family member. He was told the chorus line 'try to do all you can' by a relative and used the line as part of the hook. Writing this song turned into a way for the writers to have closure on what they cannot control.”
Me From You was started by Steven Murillo and Chris Murphy in early 2018. While recording their debut EP “Framework” with Christopher Sauter, at Sunrise Studios in late 2019, the duo had been working on a follow up to find their sound. In the spring of 2020, the band began working with Alan Day of Four Year Strong on their follow up to “Framework”.- source : Apple Music
