Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Nicole Millar Premieres New Music Video for “Blindfolded”
Australian singer-songwriter Nicole Millar dropped a new music video for “Blindfolded” directed by Josh Harris. The song is the first taste of her forthcoming debut album (yet untitled), which she’s been writing over the past few years. The track was written by Nicole Millar and co-produced by Kilter.
The video drew highlighting the dishonesty of her partner and the consequent anxiety, jealousy, sadness and ultimate anger, urther depict the emotional nature of Millar.
About the new song, she said;
“The second verse reflects my side of the story, where I’m overthinking it and scared I’ll lose him. Showing all of yourself to someone can be very scary and make you feel vulnerable. But, if you don’t share your secrets, how can you ever change? I’ve learnt from experience.
I find it really hard to trust people as most men in my life have let me down. This song definitely draws on that. The feeling that someone isn’t being completely honest and they’re hiding something from you.”- Nicole Millar is best known for her award-winning collaboration "High" with Peking Duk in 2014.
She debuted with her fist single "Wait" in 2015, followded by, her debut EP “Tremble” was released in February 2016. The second EP “Communication” was released in December 2016. -
