British singer-songwriter Connie Constance premiered a new song “Prim & Propa” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Annie Mac.
The son is her second single of 2021, following “Electric Girl” released back in March.
She worked with Karma Kid on the track.
Connie Constance told Annie Mac about the song and what inspired it. “So I think it was like, talking about the kind of lyric about my mother, like a charity that works for families at home and like dealing with, like, getting them through stuff, but things get hard and I think she's had to see such a different perspective of like what life's been like people that are kind of less fortunate during COVID, and I really kind of sparked my, for my own upbringing and like the great things that I did have around me and kind of like, if I've got all of this good stuff around me, that's all I need like I don't need. Rich people or like matches and that yeah that's kind of like where it started it was sort of like, wow, like, we've had we've been hit hard with different families, just taking into account from a completely other way but like some people's families really got together and communities to each other and I'm so bad that I bought that it's not bringing.”- source : BBC Radio 1
