FINNEAS Performs “Let's Fall in Love for the Night” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
American singer-songwriter FINNEAS, who is Billie Eilish's brother, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Let's Fall in Love for the Night”.
The track is included on his debut EP “Blood Harmony”, which was released last October.
He wrote the song when he and Billie Eilish toured in Japan in 2018. “I was in Osaka, Japan, FaceTiming a girl I’d never met every day and knowing there was nothing I could really do about it. I wrote this song about the day I would fantasize having with her,” he said. “I’d lie down on my hotel bed and turn the AC on full blast and play these chords. The chorus came first, then the first verse. The second verse was [written on] a completely different day, but that’s why I like that part so much.”
Recently, he won Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year with “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”. He became one of the youngest producers ever received for producer of the year.- 9Hg-I9op5wM
