Jacob Lee Releases New Song “Author”
Australian pop singer-songwriter Jacob Lee released a new song “Author” on December 29, 2023.
The song will appear on his upcoming third studio album “Lowlyland”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
To date, he has released two singles “Easy For You” and “You & I” from the album.
He teased the song on his own social media platform Lowlyland Club.
Jacob Lee shared on social media, “'Author' is next. The reception from you who've heard this song in the Lowlyland Club is beyond anything I could've ever expected. Meaningful music still has a place. This independent journey still feels like it's just getting started. Thank you for loving my stories.”
The track was written by Jacob Lee and Mitch Finglas. Produced by Luke Palmer and Matt Bartlem.- The new album is his first project in four years since the 2020 album “Conscience”.
Jacob Lee said of the album, “My Lowlyland album will be finished. An album that begun late 2021. I won't lie - this roll out has been far too slow. These last three years have been a whirlwind of lessons. (Though lessons make for fantastic lyrical content) ...All I'll say is that 2024 will be a gatling gun of songs.
