Ashley Kutcher Announces Debut Album “House On The Water”, Shares New Song “Trustfall”
American singer-songwriter Ashley Kutcher has announced that her debut album “House On The Water” will be released on January 26, 2024 via Darkroom Records.
The album comprises a 10-track, produced by Alex Bilowitz, Asher Postman, Holz, remy and Steven Martinez.
Ashley Kutcher said of the album title, “Growing up in a house on the water in Maryland has always been a part of who I am. By the water is where we listen to music, swim, play games, and really just connect as people. I always knew in my older years that I wanted to end up with the love of my life in a little house on the bay just like my parents did.”
From the album, she released a new song “Trustfall” along with the Mikayla LoBasso-directed music video on December 1, 2023.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Boy From Carolina”, “Matchbox”, and “Favorite Color”.
The track was written by Ashley Kutcher, Alex Bilowitz and Heather Sommer. Produced by Alex Bilowitz.
Ashley Kutcher said of the song, “Trusting someone is probably one of the most vulnerable things we can do. That person can either lift us up or let us fall. Trustfall is about falling for someone who couldn’t catch you on the way down.”- Ashley Kutcher shared about the album on social media, “The fact I get to say this is wild. I thought I would spend my whole life working as a nurse back in Maryland. My life has changed so much in the past few years all because of you. Being given the opportunity to pursue music was exciting, but when reality sank in so did the big question - who am I as an artist? That’s been a lot harder to discover.. and to be honest I probably still am. But every song I write leads me closer to figuring it out. These songs I’m proud of, they tell a story, I FELT something while writing them.”
