Becky Hill Performs “Disconnect” & The Blessed Madonna's “Shades Of Love” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
British singer-songwriter Becky Hill appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform her latest song “Disconnect” and a cover of American DJ The Blessed Madonna's “Shades Of Love”.
This marks the third time Becky Hill has been the musical guest on the Live Lounge, following 2019 and 2020. But in 2019, she performed with British DJ Sigala.
“Disconnect” is her newest single released back in July from her upcoming sophomore album.
She teamed up with British electronic music duo Chase & Status on the track.
Becky Hill said of the song, “A decade on from 'Afterglow' and I honestly didn't think that I'd be able to do it again, but I have never been more excited about a drum 'n' bass tune like I am about 'Disconnect'. It's a true dance floor record that tows the line between the rave and the radio, and to be working with the likes of Chase & Status, who I have dreamed of working with since I was a teenager, is a real moment for me.”
“Shades Of Love” was released by The Blessed Madonna, featuring South African band The Joy back in February.- IicnbUytsf0
