Alesso & John Newman Team Up for New Song “Call Your Name”
Swedish DJ Alesso and British singer-songwriter and DJ John Newman teamed up to release a new song “Call Your Name” on July 21, 2023.
This marks the first collaboration between Alesso and John Newman.
The track was written by Alesso, John Newman, Ollie Green, Johnathon Ronald Stent, Michael Richard Stent, and Timothy James Stent. Produced by Alesso, John Newman, and Sentinel.
For Alesso, the song is the third single of 2023, “Without You” and “Caught a Body” with Ty Dolla Sign.
While, John Newman joined in the song after releasing “Hold On To My Love” back in April.
Alesso said “’Call Your Name is a throwback to the dance era that we all know and love. John’s vocal really carries this nostalgic, powerful feeling and playing this one out recently has shown this track is made for the main stage!”
Also, he shared on social media, “I've been playing this song in my sets over the past couple months. It's with a good friend of mine John Newman and after playing it all over and seeing the reactions. It's coming out.”
