Glastonbury Festival 2023 Performance Highlights: Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, Queens of the Stone, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses & More
The 2023 Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts took place at Worthy Farm between June 21 and 25, 2023.
The event consisted of Pyramid stage, Other stage, West Holts stage, Woodsies stage, Park stage, Acoustic stage, Avalon stage, and Left Field.
Over 40 hours of television coverage of the festival was hosted by Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo and aired on BBC channels.
The line up was Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, Queens of the Stone, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, Maisie Peters, Aitch, Lizzo, Maggie Rogers, Tom Grennan, Becky Hill, Dermot Kennedy, Mahalia, Royal Blood, Blondie, CHVRCHES, Rita Ora, Venbee, Hozier, Måneskin, and more.
Also, it is Elton John's first time headlining Glastonbury.
Co-organiser of Glastonbury Festival, Emily Eavis said in a statement, "It gives me enormous pleasure to let you know that the one and only Elton John will be making his first ever Glastonbury appearance, headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday night next year. This will be the final UK show of Elton's last ever tour, so we will be closing the Festival and marking this huge moment in both of our histories with the mother of all send offs.
