  • The Velvet Hands Releases New Song “Over It Now”

  • London-based rock band The Velvet Hands, consisting of Toby Mitchell (vocals/guitar), Dan Able (guitar), Louis Mitchell (drums) and Sam Hilder (bass), released a new song “Over It Now” on December 2, 2022.

The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming sophomore album “Sucker Punch”, following “Telephone Love”, “I Wanna Be There” and “Holiday In My Head”.
The Velvet Hands said of the song, “One of the more laidback songs on the album, this came from the four of us just playing around in rehearsal. Lyrically the song focuses on ‘the grind’ culture, which personally we have always found to be exploitative and somewhat ridiculous. The main message is that not everything in life is about money, and you can do things at your own pace. In a nutshell: stick to your guns.”
The new album comprises 10-track (limited edition 12-track), written by Toby Mitchell and Dan Able, and produced by John Logan and JamX Jules.
It is set to be released on February 3, 2023.
