Andy Grammer Releases New Song “Good In Me”
American singer-songwriter Andy Grammer released a new song “Good In Me” on November 11, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “The Wrong Party” with Fitz and the Tantrums, which was released back in August.
It was written by Andrew Grammer, Jake Torrey, Nolan Sipe, and Jon Levine who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Cooper Davidson.
Andy Grammer shared on social media, “It’s always crazy to start with nothing and then by the end of the day something brand new is in the world. When you stumble on an idea that you know is good, it’s equal parts exciting and terrifying because closing a song is the hardest part. I love the process of chipping away at phrases and melodies, reworking concepts, tweaking hooks, pres and posts. I love working with the invisible architecture to make someone else feel something. I love this song. Excited for you to hear it.”
- He continued, “The world runs on acts of selflessness. Every day, people show up for each other in big and small ways that often go unseen and not acknowledged. In early leaks of the song I heard from those who were adopted, those who were helped through addiction, those with teachers that made a huge difference to them, all saying it made them think of someone who 'saved their life' in one form or another.”
He added, “I wrote it with my godmother in mind but can’t wait to let it go into the world and take on a new meaning with each story. I love you all. Hope you love it ❤️🎶”
