Tion Wayne Premieres New Song “Let's Go” featuring Aitch on BBC Radio 1
British rapper and DJ Tion Wayne premiered a new song “Let's Go” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
On the track, he teamed up with Manchester rapper Aitch again. In the past, they worked together on the 2019 “Keisha & Becky” remix.
The track samples Lil Wayne’s 2008 “Mrs. Officer” featuring Kidd Kidd and Bobby V.
It was written by Aitch, B. Wilson, Litek, Tion Wayne and Whyjay. Produced by Hal Ritson and LiTek.
Tion Wayne told Clara Amfo about the song, “This is one of my favorite songs growing up. I really liked the songs I just wanted to experiment with a beat on our way to the studio, Aitch listened to the song in the car to try it in the studio. And then I'm like, the way that Aitch was throwing on his tune, I just knew that a beat that this was to work straightaway. So we just got together and we just made a one of two smashes. That day we actually made two songs in that session. One of them was that another song than this one, but they're both really good.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Wowa and is introduced by the YouTube star IShowSpeed.
In the clip, both rappers play golf. Tion Wayne said, “I've never been to a golf course. Before I started this offense at the ball was missing all the first swings. And then our professional golfer he told me how to play.”
