You Me At Six Premieres New Song “DEEP CUTS” on BBC Radio 1
- British rock band You Me At Six premiered a new song “DEEP CUTS” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song is the first taste from their upcoming eighth studio album “Truth Decay”, which is expected to be released early next year.
It was written by Josh Franceschi, Max Helyer, Daniel Flint, Matthew Barnes and Chris Miller. Produced by Dan Austin.
The accompanying video was directed by Static Dress.
The band frontman Josh Franceschi said of the song, “'Deep Cuts’ is about being on the outside looking in on people in your circle who are going through pain or a bad moment by being with the wrong person. Suffering because they’re holding onto someone or something that they could let go of. Knowing that they would be more than fine on the other side of it, but convincing them of that is easier said than done. Hoping they will eliminate the trauma by moving past it as quick as possible”.
