FRANSIS Releases New Song “Honeymoon”
- London-based alt-rock band FRANSIS, consisting of Emma Withers (vocals), Alex Scott (guitar), Stefan Kotlarz (guitar) and Craig Rattray (bass), released a new song on April 29, 2022.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming debut EP of the same name, which narrates a journey of womanhood.
It was written by Emma Louise Smith, Alex James Scott, Craig Rattray, Stefan Kotlarz, Dave Holmes, Oli Morgan and Johnny Bucci.
The story starts with the track, taking a fond look back on the sweetness of childhood rebellion and the sense of freedom and indestructibility you feel as a teen.
Emma Withers said of the song, “It's nice to have an uplifting sense of appreciation for my own personal experiences which have moulded me even if they didn't seem so poignant or great at the time, how we know not what we have until it's gone. With that being said there is nothing melancholy about this narrative, I have such a tenderness and affection for my teen self, an enjoyment to revisit her and a continuation of personal growth and one day looking back at myself now with a similar fondness.”
The debut EP is set to be released on July 1, 2022.
