American singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal has released a new song “Today And Tomorrow” from Disney's film “Stargirl” soundtrack.
She makes her acting debut on the film as Susan "Stargirl" Caraway and contributed the song, produced by Ido Zmishlany.
Grace VanderWaal said of the song, “‘Today and Tomorrow’ was inspired while I was filming the movie. I wanted to capture the essence of being Stargirl and how it felt to play her,” Grace said of the song. “My producer, Ido, and I wanted to keep it as raw and natural as possible to let people hear the magic in the studio when the song was written.”
The film “Stargirl” is based on the novel of the same name by Jerry Spinelli and directed by Grace VanderWaal, Julia Hart, starring Graham Verchere, Giancarlo Esposito, Karan Brar, Darby Stanchfield, and Maximiliano Hernández. It will be released on March 13th.
