C. SHIROCK Premieres New Song “Confess Your Love”
- Nashville and Los Angeles based alt-pop singer-songwriter Chuck Shirock, aka C. SHIROCK has unveiled a new song “Confess Your Love”.
The song is his first single in two years since the debut EP "11".
The track features heartfelt, emotional vocals with glistening synthscapes and powerful melodies.
He has already shot the music video for the song in a beautiful colonial town near Tulum, Mexico, which is set to be released on November 2nd.
C. SHIROCK said of the song:
"A close friend of mine and I were talking one day about relationships…about beginnings. About how every relationship requires that one person takes the risk, stepping into the unknown and making themselves vulnerable, in hopes that real intimacy or connecting might occur. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes you risk much and get nothing in return. But we need more people who are less concerned with protecting themselves and more concerned with letting themselves be known.
Vulnerability is the beginning of connection, intimacy, reconciliation, communication, love…
It’s hard, but I need to be reminded of this daily. Take the risk. Be courageous in letting yourself be known. When someone asks you how you are, tell the truth. They might need it as much as you do. Somewhere in this idea is where “Confess Your Love“ came from…the risk in trusting your heart and taking a step of faith."
- Chuck Shirock is known as a frontman of alt-rock band SHIROCK. The band released the debut album "Everything Burns" in 2011.
But he decided to start a solo project in 2016. “I viewed it as a continuation or an evolution or sorts. It’s been incredibly freeing and liberating to chase whatever turns me on…to create without inhibition”, he revealed.
