  • Troye Sivan Premieres New Song “Dance To This” featuring Ariana Grande on Beats 1

  • Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan premiered a new song “Dance To This” on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show.

    The song will appear on his upcoming sphomore album "Bloom" and features American pop star Ariana Grande.
    The track was written by Troye Sivan, Leland, Oscar Holter and Noonie Bao.
    The album is set be released on August 31st, including previously issued singles "My My My!," "The Good Side" and "Bloom."
    He recently performed "My My My!" with Taylor Swift at the Rose Bowl.

    Troye Sivan said of the song;
    "I think that she’s just the coolest. I basically just texted her the song. I sat on it for a couple of weeks because I’m nervous to ask people for stuff. I don’t want to ever put anybody in an uncomfortable position where they’re like, ‘This song is terrible and I don’t want to be a part of it.’ So I kind of waited and then I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to regret it if I don’t ask.’ So, I sent her the song."

    He performed "My! My! My!" for the first time at Pride in Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. in June.
    "It was so fun. I've been to Pride parades before but never played one. I really just went for it. I stage-dived for the first time.
    My first Pride parade was the first time that I -- I was under age, so I couldn't go to clubs yet -- it was my first time being surrounded by a majority of people that I felt like understood me and were like me, because growing up, I didn't know any gay people, let alone being in a space where everyone is celebrating who you are and who they are. To me, Pride is such a sacred event, so to be able to enjoy it at its fullest and be onstage in front of all those people and celebrating with them, it's crazy."

    Troye Sivan will perform live at Hersheypark Stadium on August 4th, after the festival, he kicks off The Bloom Tour along with Kim Petras at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on Seprember 21st.
